UPDATE: Various additions

FIL-120 FRS-2 RitchieTHO-310 ZB7-3A Dunn singleI am indebted to new contact and Hibs fan, Richard White who has sent me several scans from a couple of series. First was a lovely 1924 FilshillFootballers” card of Harry Ritchie, followed by “singles” cards of Dunn, Halligan, Muirhead and Shaw in the 1922/23 RoverCricketers & Footballers” series. These were then followed up by “pairs” cards from the same series of Archibald & Dunn, and Halligan & Jackson. These Scottish issue cards are particularly hard to hunt down, so this is quite a coup for my website. 😉

UPDATE: 5 more Barratt Football “Stars” cards added

BAR-430 BAR-34A Spence JAs ever, these never seem to turn up in particularly good condition, but Lee Graves has several for sale right now on eBay and I’ve managed to pinch the images of five new cards: J. Collins (Swansea), S. Haden (Notts County), J. Jenkins (Brighton & Hove Albion), Murphy (Bolton Wanderers) and Joe Spence (Manchester United). If you’re interested, the prices range from £19.99 for a card of Gibson of Aston Villa to an astronomical £199.99 for a lovely condition card of Liverpool’s McKinlay. The Jenkins one is in very poor condition but it’s notable because it is either a printer’s proof or a misprint as it has no blue stripes.
