According to Alan Jenkins this set is the last of the football-related card sets issued by Pals magazine to be checklisted, even though it was the first to be issued, beginning in 1922. The cards measure 68 x 41mm (although some here appear ‘trimmed’), are unnumbered and are listed here in alphabetical order. Details of which issues the cards were included with are as yet unknown, although it’s possible that they were included with the first eight issues of Pals magazine, a short-lived periodical that was eventually incorporated into Boys’ Magazine in 1923.
